Rosemary Oil Benefits For Hair Growth

  • Improves circulation by promoting blood flow to the scalp- without blood flow to the scalp, the hair follicles won’t get the nutrients they need in order to stimulate hair growth. When this fails to happen, the hair follicles just die.

  • Promotes nerve growth and improves cellular turnover- this is important because it means that rosemary oil has the power to repair damaged nerves in the scalp, which can in turn help to stimulate hair growth.

  • Contains Anti Inflammatory Properties-  rosemary can naturally help to soothe inflammation of the scalp because it is loaded with anti-oxidants, is anti-bacterial and has anti-fungal properties.

  • DHT Inhibition: Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is a hormone that, in some individuals, can contribute to hair loss. Some studies suggest that rosemary oil may have the ability to inhibit the production of DHT, potentially helping to prevent or slow down hair loss.

  • Antioxidant Effects: Antioxidants help protect cells from damage caused by free radicals. Rosemary oil contains antioxidants that may contribute to the overall health of the hair and scalp.

  • Stimulation of Hair Follicles: Massaging rosemary oil into the scalp can provide a stimulating effect on hair follicles. This stimulation may encourage hair growth by promoting the activity of follicles and facilitating the growth phase of the hair cycle.
